In a future Aims class, we will follow up with our idea and we take half a day off to take the orphanage kids to Pingvin, an ice-skating place in Belgrade.We might also organize a basketball game for them. We are also going to try and help other ‘needy’ people such as, the disabled, poor, etc... Hopefully we will come up with another idea to help someone else that’s just as effective as our last idea was.
During Aims class, we have focused on figuring out things we can do for the more needy people in Serbia. The place that we visited so we could try and help them was the local orphanage. We took half a day off and went and took a tour at the orphanage to see what we could do. We decided that they had most of the necessities, what they really needed was happiness. So we asked ourselves, what would make them happy? We decided that what the orphanage kids would actually like is to do something fun, like ice skating. We figured out that we needed to raise a fundraiser. We came up with a bake sale, where we raised just enough money to take the orphanage kids ice skating. This will be followed up soon.
